How to fix corrupt Citrix profile

If that happens, we suggest inspecting the group policy and the netuser.dat file. The most prominent reason for issues like these is a corruption of the said file, especially occurring if the user’s PC shuts down before the DAT file is written.

If the file is only partially written over UPM, the profile will get corrupted and issues will emerge. The problem mostly appears to bother users with UPM (Universal Password Manager). When that happens, whether you’re using XenDesktop or VM, you’ll need to look into logs to find out what’s causing the problem at hand.
